Your hosts Sandra & Derek have been in the hospitality trade for over 30 years. Derek a master joiner to trade renovated a large guest house in the west end of Aberdeen and with his wife Sandra ran it for over 9 years before moving to Inverurie as proprietors of a pub restaurant. In 1993 they built their house nearby and after selling the pub in 2000 extended and customized the house to what it is now with 5 large en suite letting rooms.

This year they acquired a property only minutes from the house which was re-furbished to provide 2 self contained e/suite bedrooms. The new rooms share the same features as the main house but with fridges and wall mounted LCD TVs.
